After working for the corporate sector for a significant number of years, I decided to register for the FP HRD program (way back in 1996) to keep in touch with the current trends in research and development, specifically in the area of HRD. The program was very intense and it was good to get back to the academic rigor that the coursework demanded. Since most of us were practicing managers, the program served as a fantastic forum for exchange of ideas. Established HRD gurus like Dr Udai Parek and Prof TV Rao were a part of the visiting faculty, which made our discussions very interesting and topical. The invaluable experience, I will always cherish.

The program design was very good. As a working professional it helped me to achieve one of my dreams. I want to say' thank you' to HRD accademy and XLRI specially Dr. T V Rao . I must mention that had it not been for DR T V Rao, I would not have completed the program.
In fact I had given up. Then at a chance meeting Dr. Rao counselled, coaxed, insisted and even threatened me (as a friend) to complete the program. I will never forget his support and guidance. God bless him. The type of contribution he has made to Indian corporate world with his creative thoughts like this is unbelievable and a dream of any professional.
