Large Scale Interactive Process ( LSIP)

Large-Scale Interactive Events are a process through which a critical mass of stake holders decide on feasible action plans on ‘common grounds’ (i.e. matters that they all agree need attention) through simultaneous interaction under one roof in a concentrated period of time (usually spread over three days).

The Academy collaborated with Eicher Consultancy Services to organize a training for trainers in 1996 for Large-Scale Interactive Process (LSIP). The Academy also conducted a Large-Scale Interactive Event for International Development Education Projects Office (DFIDEPO) of the British Council Division, Hyderabad for improving the managerial and behavioural skills of ‘Education Managers’ of the district primary education project (DPEP), which was being implemented by the Government of Andhra Pradesh with assistance from the DFIDEPO.

This project helped
The participants in the identification and understanding of their roles in managing Primary Education
In identifying the managerial / behavioural training needs for different categories of education managers and
To identify the factors which facilitated / hindered their performance and finally
In the generation of feasible ideas for the effective management of the hindering factors
