National Level Honour of our Chairperson Dr. Anil K Khandelwal

The Economic Times of 16th December, 2005 issue has released a list of outstanding 100 CEOs in the country. And Dr. Anil K Khandelwal, Chairperson, Board of Governors, Academy of HRD, in his position as CMD, Bank of Baroda has been ranked no. 36. While he ranks at the top amongst the PSU Banks, he also ranks just next to Mr. Subir Raha, CMD ONGC (rank 17) in the list of public sector CEOs. In other words Dr. Khandelwal ranks no. 2 amongst the public sector CEOs. This is a matter of great pride and privilege for the Academy and others associated with the Academy.

Chairman of the Board of Governors
Dr Anil K. Khandelwal is the current Chairman of the Board of Governors of AHRD. He is B.E. (Chemical Engineering) and MBA, PhD in Management. Dr. Khandelwal also holds degree in Law and Postgraduate Diploma in Training & Development. He joined Bank of Baroda as Probationary Officer in 1971 and now holds the position of Chairman and MD of BOB. Dr. Khandelwal is a prominent contributor to the HR field and has been associated with several renowned institutions in the Country. He has been a recipient of the prestigious Best HRD Chief Award by National HRD Network, Great Son of the Soil by Conference of Intellectual as well as Super Achiever Award by the Institute of Change Management. He has authored 4 books, and has several published papers and articles to his credit. 

Director 
Mr. K. K. Verma is the current Director of AHRD. He is a Fellow of All India Management Association and holds Post Graduate Degree in Social Work (Delhi School of Social Work, Delhi University) and Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Laws (Indian Law Institute, New Delhi). He has been associated with HRD functions over the last 40 years in corporate sector as well as in professional bodies. At various stages of his career, he was a Research Associate at IIMA, the General Manager-HR of Bank of Baroda, Managing Director of BOB Capital Markets Ltd., Principal of BOB Staff College and Corporate Head (HR) of DS Group of Industries. In addition he has authored 2 books, and has several published papers and articles to his credit.
